Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all facility systems.  This role supports production and facility uptime by responding promptly to maintenance requests, completing repairs to a high standard, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

  • Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting on production and facility equipment. 
  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules to reduce downtime.
  • Repair or replace faulty components such as motors, sensors, belts, hoses, and valves.
  • Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning.

Facility Maintenance

  • Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and basic structural components.
  • Ensure all maintenance areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Monitor and report facility-related issues proactively.

Safety & Compliance

  •  Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and OSHA regulations.
  • Report unsafe conditions and participate in safety improvement activities.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and quality requirement.      

 Documentation & Communication

  • Communicate equipment status and repair timelines to supervisors and production team members.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.       

Qualifications
Required

  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, electrical, or related fields in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
